Job description

Position: Production Worker (Vinyl Department)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day

Salary: $20/hour

Are you proactive, with a positive attitude and able to see solutions for every problem? Good physical condition is essential for this position. You will inspect parts, prepare orders, and operate a forklift when needed. The work is mainly done standing or on the ground.

Main duties of the position:

- Prepare orders for shipment

- Perform quality control on produced parts

- Assemble different vinyl parts with the help of a machine - Fill out daily control reports

What success looks like:

- In 3 months: You understand the entire manufacturing process, can easily recognize manufacturing defects, and operate various machines with little supervision. You get involved in all other sub-departments.

- In 6 months: You don't just execute tasks; you think, bring new ideas, and respond to minor issues. You participate in related projects (e.g., continuous improvement, health and safety).

- In 12 months: You are a reference point! You can train new recruits when needed, as you master all stages of the position as well as the different tools and machines. You have become indispensable!

Qualifications and work experience:

- Good physical condition (able to lift and fold 50 lb vinyl sheets, kneel, work standing or crouching)

- Willingness to actively engage in the department (health and safety committee, activities/ideas)

- Team spirit

- Rigorous and detail-oriented

- Experience in a production or warehouse environment
