Position: Electromechanic
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: $30/hour to $35/hour, depending on skills and experience

YOUR MISSION:
You are a technical expert who is passionate about challenges and complex projects. You are organized, self-reliant, and solution-oriented, and you excel at planning and execution. Comfortable with technology and a strong leader, you will be a key player in our transition to a new plant.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance and Repair:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain production machinery (plasma cutters, welders, industrial washers, etc.).
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Perform repairs on electric motors and troubleshoot technical issues.
Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in the implementation of new machinery and technologies.
• Apply Lean Management principles to improve operational efficiency.
Building Renovation and Maintenance:
• Perform tasks related to electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenanceWhat success looks like:
After 3 months : You’ll be proficient in using Grandchamp’s equipment and tools. You’ll handle urgent repairs and propose proactive solutions.
After 6 months :You’ll be fully independent in managing maintenance and will collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
After 12 months :You’ll be a recognized leader within the team. You’ll have successfully overseen the relocation and installation of the machines at the new plant.
Qualifications and work experience:
· Degree in Electromechanics of Automated Systems
· Class C driver’s license (a major asset)
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (SME, an asset)
· Strong organizational and prioritization skills
· Proven leadership and ability to adapt to change
· Proficiency with technological tools
· The position requires fluency in English, due to collaboration with English-speaking external partners.
