Tent installer

Position: Tent installer

Schedule: 35–50 hours/week, day shift

Salary: $25 per hour


THE ROLE:

Never the same work environment… you’ll get to see different places! Rain or shine, installations move forward. You’ll work in teams of 2 to 15 people, installing various tent structures using different tools (sledgehammer, drill, circular saw, winch).

Occasionally, you’ll drive trucks and operate forklifts. You’ve got a strong work ethic. Routine isn’t for you—you’re always looking to push your limits. Workdays range from 8 to 12 hours.

A valid driver’s license is required.




What success looks like:

After 3 months ;

- You learn by doing

- You ask questions

- You’re familiar with installation sequences

- You master the tools and technology required for the job

- You’ve passed your certification to operate trucks, forklifts, and lifts

-You’re fully engaged… we can’t do without you!

After 6 months ;

- You’re autonomous on standard installations

- You understand the full installation sequence

- You plan installation steps

- You coordinate and execute the game plan

- You ensure quality and progress control on-site

- You can adjust the plan to meet objectives


You are recognized as a reliable advisor, both technically agile and strong in client follow-up.


After 12 months;

- You collaborate with other departments impacting your work

- You master cross-functional workflows

- You contribute to process improvement

- You train new team members. With you, there’s always a solution… the show must go on!


Qualifications and work experience:


  • 3 years of experience in a related field (renovation, landscaping, pools, construction, stage setup)
  • Available to work extended hours during peak season (May to October)
  • Hands-on and resourceful
  • Good physical condition and enjoys working outdoors
  • Available to travel and stay overnight when required
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to drive a 20’ truck and/or pickup with trailer
  • Asset: Bilingual (English/French) for occasional projects in Ontario
