Job description

Position: Tent Installer

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week and more

Salary: Between $22 and $25 per hour

Hiring Date: April 17, 2024

You are paid during transportation to the job sites and the teams vary between 2 and 15 people. You install various tent structures. You handle different tools (hammer, drill, circular saw, winch). You drive different trucks and forklifts. You have a strong morale. Routine bores you. You are in very good physical shape and always seek to push your limits. ALL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE BELOW:
  • Availability to work more hours in the summer season (April to September).
  • You are handy and resourceful.
  • You have good physical condition and want to work outdoors.
  • Availability to stay overnight if needed.
  • You have a driver's license (Class 5) and can drive a 20' truck and/or Pick-Up with a trailer.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field; renovation, landscaping, pool, construction, stage assembly. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: In 3 months: You learn by doing. You ask questions. You are familiar with the installation sequence. You master the technological tools required for the position. You have passed your truck, forklift, and lift driving test. You are fully involved... We can't do without you anymore. In 6 months: You are autonomous in standard installations. You have a comprehensive view of the sequence plan. You plan installation steps. You coordinate/implement the game plan. You exercise quantity/quality control over the progress of the work. You are able to adjust the game plan to achieve the intended goals. In 12 months: You intervene in other departments that impact yours. You master the interdepartmental sequence. You participate in process development. You train new employees.
