Position: Technical Project Manager
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: Between $70,000 to $85,000
All required qualifications and work experiences below:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a related field; renovation, landscaping, pool, construction, stage assembly;
- 7 to 10 years of experience in field team management;
- Occasionally available for overnight stays;
- Good physical condition;
- Natural leadership;
- Communication skills;
- Valid driver's license;
- Experience driving a 20’ truck and/or Pick-Up with trailer;
- Availability to work flexibly, including overtime (especially in peak season: April to September);
- Valid passport and availability to travel (U.S.);
- Proficiency with computer devices and technological platforms;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Experience in a non-unionized environment.
Your role:
Rain or shine... the installation takes place. You have a strong morale. You are in very good physical shape and always seek to push your limits. As a Technical Project Manager, your main job will be to coordinate your team in all technical phases related to site installations. You are the link between the client and the seller. The success of the site, according to the set objectives, lies in your hands. You ensure to meet deadlines and guarantee quality standards. You will ensure workplace safety rules. You have a set of responsibilities, skills, and qualifications necessary to supervise and coordinate the activities of a team responsible for installing structures such as tents or marquees.
Main job functions:
- Team Coordination: You supervise and lead a team of marquee installers to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Planning: You participate in installation planning, in collaboration with project managers, ensuring all necessary resources are available.
- Installation: You actively participate in marquee installations while supervising the team to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Resource Management: You ensure the proper use of human and material resources, ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment.
- Training: You train and mentor team members, especially new installers, to ensure a clear understanding of procedures and safety standards.
- Communication: You maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Managing the Unexpected: You handle emergency situations or unforeseen challenges that may arise during installation, making quick and effective decisions.
