Tent installer
Position : Tent installer
Work schedule : 35h-50h/week, shift
Salary : Between $22 and $25 per hour

THE POSITION
Never the same workplace... you'll see a lot of the country!
Rain or shine... installation takes place.
You work in teams of 2 to 15 people.
You set up different tent structures using tools like jackhammer, drill, circular saw, and winch.
You may also drive trucks and forklifts.
You're enthusiastic and dislike routine.
You enjoy pushing your limits.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

Available to work longer hours during the summer (May to October)

Manual skills and resourcefulness
-
Good physical condition and desire to work outdoors
-
Available for overnight stays if needed
-
Driver's license (class 5) and ability to drive a 20' truck and/or pick-up with trailer

1 to 2 years' experience in related fields: renovation, landscaping, pool installation, construction, stage setting

Assets: English-French bilingualism and valid passport (for jobs in the USA)

In 3 months:

Master installation sequence and technological tools

Pass driving tests for truck, forklift, and aerial platform

In 6 months:

Be autonomous in standard installations

Plan and coordinate installation stages

Control quantity and quality of work

In 12 months:

Work in other departments impacting yours

Master interdepartmental processes

Train new employees
