Position: Warehouse Worker, order Preparation and Quality Control

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible day shift between 6h-14h30 or 7h-15h30 or 8h-16h30

 Starting Salary: $23–$25 per hour

YOUR MISSION:

You play a key role in ensuring the proper preparation and accuracy of orders for metal and vinyl parts. With an eye for detail, you ensure product quality, accurate quantities, and the maintenance of a reliable inventory. You also contribute to the smooth organization of the warehouse and the efficiency of daily operations.

 

 

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

         Prepare orders for metal and vinyl parts according to purchase orders

         Conduct quantity and quality checks prior to shipment

         Participate in product quality control activities

         Conduct inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy

         Load and unload goods using a forklift

         Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized

         Occasionally make deliveries using company vehicles (Class 5)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

         3 to 5 years of warehouse experience at an SME

         Class 5 driver’s license

         Good physical condition: ability to easily lift loads of 50 lbs

         Forklift experience or certification (a plus)

         Ability to work independently and in an organized manner

 

 

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

In 3 months: You’ll be familiar with the various categories of metal and vinyl products and will prepare orders with precision. You’ll rigorously check quantities and quality and help maintain accurate inventory levels.


In 6 months: You’ll be able to work independently on order preparation and daily activities in the warehouse. You’ll have a thorough understanding of the products and will quickly identify discrepancies in quality, inventory, or order fulfillment so you can propose solutions.


In 12 months: You’ll be the team’s go-to expert on products, inventory, and quality control. You’ll actively participate in improving work methods, organizing the warehouse, and optimizing order accuracy.
