Montreal in Lights

In this scenario, we had several important challenges to overcome, in particular:

Installing a multimedia structure tent to receive festival-goers on a complex site, in the street in downtown Montreal, and in the middle of winter.

Challenge encountered :

Allow rigging of more than 10,000 lbs in audiovisual equipment under the entire interior surface of the tent roof, without adding interior support brackets. All of this while maintaining sufficient snow load capacity, as recommended by the RBQ and the CNBC.

The result was highly successful, allowing clients to enjoy the full space, without the addition of interior support legs!

The success of this project is essentially based on the interchangeable modular "The leg as a rafter and the rafter as a leg" concept of the Grandchamp structures.

The XLN Structure is available in widths of 20 ’- 30’ - 40 ’-50’ -67 ’and 100’.
