Position: Production SupervisorSchedule: Monday to Friday, full-time, on-site (the employee determines their schedule)
Compensation:
· Salary: $35-40/hour (72 800$ à 83 200$/annually)
· 5 personal days per year
· Employer-matched RRSP contributions
· Paid vacation:
o 2 weeks during the 2026 holiday season
o 3 weeks per year starting May 2027
YOUR MISSION:
Proactive and results-oriented, you are the operational backbone of the vinyl and metal departments. You ensure a smooth, efficient, and optimized production flow by coordinating activities, resources, and teams (approximately 10 to 15 employees and 2 team leaders). You serve as the central link between the shop floor and management. You motivate teams, organize operations, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, both in terms of people and operations.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Management
• Plan production and coordinate priorities between the two departments
• Ensure a continuous and optimized production flow
• Forecast raw material needs and manage inventory
• Track purchase orders and coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Approve orders for shipment
Team Management
• Supervise, motivate, and develop production teams
• Schedule shifts and assign work orders
• Lead daily meetings
• Facilitate communication between teams and management
• Evaluate performance and foster employee engagement
Performance and Continuous Improvement
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production
• Identify waste, problems, and anomalies
• Propose and implement improvement solutions (LEAN)
• Participate in optimization projects (layout, installation of new machinery, processes)
Administrative Management
• Coordinate shipping and billing activities
• Calculate lead times and production costs
• Monitor subcontractors

After 3 months ;
You have a thorough understanding of the production processes in the vinyl and metal departments and are able to step in effectively to stabilize and adjust day-to-day operations.
You will understand, stabilize, and take operational control of both departments.
After 6 months ;
You effectively coordinate multiple production runs simultaneously, optimize resources, and actively propose concrete improvements to reduce waste and boost performance.
You optimize operations and ensure smooth coordination between teams and processes
After 12 months;
You have full mastery of combined vinyl and metal operations, with structured processes, established KPIs, and a self-managed, dedicated, and high-performing team.
You have built an efficient, self-sufficient, and sustainable system.
Qualifications and work experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment (SME)
- Experience working with key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Participatory leadership style and strong communication skills
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- On-site presence (≈ 60% shop floor / 40% office)
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of an ERP system
- Plus: Knowledge of LEAN principles
