Position: Production Supervisor
Direct Supervisor: Production Director
Schedule: 8 hours/day (employee sets their own work schedule)

You're proactive and thrive in action. You stay organized, and can adapt to changing situations. You’re a strong communicator and the main point of contact between employees, management, and internal clients.

The Production Supervisor works mainly on-site at the metal production facility. You manage a team of approximately 8 people. You ensure a steady and efficient production flow in line with the established planning, while energizing and engaging your team to reach optimal commitment levels.

You are responsible for shift planning, performance evaluations, and work order assignments. You also oversee the department’s quality and efficiency. You identify problems and anomalies, and propose innovative solutions to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily meetings and manage staff

- Follow up on internal and supplier work orders

- Manage quantity and quality control

- Validate orders before shipping

- Actively participate in space reorganization and LEAN projects

- Plan shifts and assign work orders

- Coordinate daily subcontracting


What Success Looks Like:

-After 3 months: You have a clear understanding of the entire metal production cycle and key operational steps • You respond effectively to unexpected situations while respecting production priorities • You've built initial trust with your team and key internal collaborators (logistics, quality, maintenance) • You've started mapping production flow bottlenecks and identifying improvement opportunities.

-After 6 months:You autonomously manage shift planning and work order assignments in line with production goals • You master your department's performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure weekly monitoring • You proactively contribute to LEAN projects and help reorganize the space and standardize processes • You play a key role in employee engagement and demonstrate respected, dialogue-based leadership.

After 12 months: You are the technical and human reference point of the department. Employees and colleagues come to you for solving complex issues • You lead a sustainable continuous improvement process with measurable results • You support your team with a culture of accountability through regular follow-ups, structured feedback, and fair evaluations • You successfully coordinated the relocation of your department to the new facility while maintaining team cohesion and operational continuity.
