What success looks like:

After 3 months — Understanding, credibility, and initial drivers

You have gained a clear understanding of production operations, on-site constraints, and workflows between departments.

You are proficient in planning tools (ERP, Excel, or others) and understand their limitations.

You have built a relationship of trust with the on-site teams, team leaders, and the technician under your supervision.

You are able to produce a coherent production plan and adjust it based on on-site realities.

You identify key operational gaps and pain points and begin addressing them using a Lean and PDCA approach.

Your integration is successful when the teams perceive you as a structured, approachable, and credible person who truly helps manage priorities

After 6 months — Stability, performance, and operational leadership

You are self-sufficient in planning and scheduling operations and adjusting priorities.

You actively use KPIs to steer production and anticipate challenges.

You have mastered all production flows and the interdependencies between departments.

KPIs are integrated into daily routines and used to anticipate, correct, and continuously improve (PDCA).

You lead your team with a motivating and structured management style.

You actively participate in continuous improvement projects and the evolution of planning tools or systems.

You are no longer just a planner: you have become a pillar of operational performance, team management, and plant organization.
