Position: Sales representative
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time, on-site
Salary: between 75 000 à 90 000$
THE ROLE:
The Inside Sales Representative works primarily from the office and plays a key role in handling inbound inquiries. They answer client calls, manage assigned requests, and welcome walk-in clients. Responsible for simultaneously following multiple projects, they ensure a structured and rigorous management of the sales cycle, without the need for travel. The role focuses on contractual sales and requires excellent priority-management skills. While the majority of the clientele is English-speaking, the representative may also serve French-speaking clients as needed.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to inbound inquiries by acting as a trusted advisor, translating client needs into tailored solutions.
- Maintain an overall view of each project, supporting all stages through to full completion.
- Monitor and optimize the financial parameters of each project, ensuring budget compliance and targeted profit margins are achieved.
What success looks like:
After 3 months — Exploration period and mastery of fundamentals
- You understand the company’s overall process and the key stages of the customer cycle.
- You are comfortable with the technical vocabulary related to tents and temporary structures.
- You have identified the major players in our market and understand their main offerings.
- You are able to build clear and complete quotes, pricing various products and services.
Your integration is successful when you become a credible and structured point of contact, capable of turning a request into a concrete proposal.
After 6 months — Sales autonomy and operational rigor
- You independently and strategically propose tailored solutions to clients.
- You master cost calculations and quickly validate project feasibility.
- You understand installation techniques and field realities, allowing you to better advise clients.
- You use the CRM efficiently, ensure rigorous follow-ups, and demonstrate excellent file management.
- You have integrated the company’s sales techniques and know how to apply them effectively.
You are recognized as a reliable advisor, both technically agile and strong in client follow-up.
After 12 months — Product expertise and strategic impact
- Your knowledge of the product, its modularity, and installation constraints is complete.
- You respond precisely to complex client needs, taking all variables into account.
- You identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to optimizing our sales practices.
- You apply Lean management principles in your daily work to gain efficiency and increase client value.
You are no longer simply a salesperson: you have become a strategic expert advisor, a catalyst for trust and growth.
Qualifications and work experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales in the following fields: event industry or manufacturing;
- Bilingual in English and French (excellent conversational and professional English required due to a primarily English-speaking clientele);
- Strong communication skills and adaptability;
- Sense of urgency, initiative, and ability to work at a fast pace;
- Strong computer skills (sales CRM and Microsoft Office 365 Suite).
