The least we can say is that Grandchamp Structure Design's expertise is now recognized worldwide! Here's how!

On June 8 and 9, the leaders of the G7 met in Canada, at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, located in La Malbaie, in the Charlevoix region. Guess what ? Grandchamp was there! In fact, we supplied the marquees for the meetings, but also for the Canadian Armed Forces military base in Saguenay-Bagotville. We are all the more proud, because this place represented a key site which specifically met the needs of the G7 in La Malbaie.

But that was not all! Grandchamp also provided a 50-foot x 90-foot media tent for journalists as well as a meal tent (having served 60,000 meals!) For the RCMP that could accommodate the 3,000 police officers on duty.The least we can say is that Grandchamp Structure Design's expertise is now recognized worldwide! Here's how! It goes without saying that an event of this kind, on an international scale, does not happen so easily, despite Grandchamp's great expertise! As a result, the team had to contend with an extremely tight deadline, also responding to last-minute requests.

The localization also helped make our job more difficult. We thus had to move in the red zones, with very restricted access, where the security measures were exceptional.

Similarly, security not only made the installation of the marquees complex, but we were forced to provide a turnkey service. Our offer therefore included electricity and plumbing under our marquees, particularly for the meal tent.

Lastly, it should be noted that resources were in service, and therefore on site, throughout the duration of the G7.
